Steve Jobs ousts radiation app

An Israeli company has created an application for the Iphone that allows you to monitor your exposure to radiation. This is a tool seen by many as an important aspect of life as we are currently under a radiation scare with what we are seeing happen in Japan after the earthquake and tsunami.

Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs, has publicly stated that Apple has no interest in this application. It would seem as though he were just pushing this small company around, but there is another reason for his attitude towards this app.

The company that created this app seems to have an intention of making profit off of the recent disaster in Japan. They are not creating this as an outlet for aid, but as an opportunity of profit for themselves. Not only will they continue the panic of radiation poisoning in Japan but will bring a scare to those in the US that believe that the radiation will travel across to the US.
