Now only a year after after the 4 was released we hear news of another model, the 5. Insiders say that production should start in early September 2011 and hit the market soon after.This would put the release of the phone into what has been traditionally the iPod's release territory. In general we have seen the phones released mid summer and the iPod's released in Autumn.
What does this mean to us? The delay of the phone may be a result of the recent news from Steve Jobs about a possible leave from the company. According to sources there are grumblings within the supply chain which has lead to this delay. Hopefully for us, the consumer, these issues will be resolved and we will get our new phones on time.
